How the calculation works
The binomial model assumes the same stated probability and independent packs. You supply the probability; it is not an official pull rate. Printing batches, products and sets may differ, so the output only describes your assumption.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the pull rate come from?
You provide it from a documented sample or your own assumption. Pokémon does not publish odds for every card and expansion.
Does this predict my next pack?
No. It measures how likely an observed result is under the rate you entered. It cannot guarantee future pulls.
What counts as a hit?
Define one target before calculating: one specific card or a rarity. Count each pack at most once for that target.
