How your maximum offer is worked out

Your ceiling is not the price you hope for. It is what is left after the commission, your real costs and the minimum profit you chose.

Transparent method

Maximum offer = resale price − platform fees − costs you still pay − minimum profit. If the result is below €0.01, no positive offer protects your target.

The resale price must be for the same card: set and number, language, variant, condition and, if it is graded, the company and grade. A listed price is not a completed sale.

The fees are the private-seller schedules published on each platform’s French site (eBay, Vinted and Leboncoin checked on 28 October 2026, Cardmarket on 3 August 2026); for eBay, those of a private seller registered in the EEA selling to the euro zone or Sweden, fee-free since 1 September 2026. They may differ in your country and platforms can change their rules, so check them before any transaction.

What the result includes

The highest ceiling across the four platforms, the platform it applies to, and for each of Cardmarket, eBay, Vinted and Leboncoin the fee charged and the maximum offer, or “No positive offer” when fees, costs and your target already absorb the resale price.

Amounts run from €0 to €100,000 with up to two decimals. A shareable link keeps the scenario in the part of the address that is never sent to a server.

Check the right printing first

Pepita recognises the set, number, language and variant, then shows its price in euros. Start from the right card before you set your offer. The app is available in English and French.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I offer for a Pokémon card I want to resell?

Start from a cautious resale price based on completed sales, then subtract the platform fee, every cost you still pay and the minimum profit you want. What remains is the most you can offer.

Does the calculator tell me what the card is worth?

No. You enter a cautious resale price for the exact printing, language, variant and condition. The result only calculates your buying ceiling.

Why does the ceiling change from one platform to another?

Seller fees differ. The calculation applies the schedule recorded for each platform, then subtracts your other costs and the minimum profit you asked for.

What goes into the costs I still pay?

Add postage the buyer does not cover, packaging, protections and any paid extra. Do not add an amount the buyer already pays.

Can I offer exactly the ceiling shown?

The ceiling respects your assumptions to the cent. It does not guarantee the resale price, the time to sell, the card’s authenticity or its condition.

Do these fees apply outside France?

They are the private-seller schedules published on each platform’s French site (eBay, Vinted and Leboncoin checked on 28 October 2026, Cardmarket on 3 August 2026). Fees can differ by country, account type and promotion, so check the platform you actually sell on.
