Calculated on your device from your own values. Pepita supplies no card price and no “fair trade” rule.
Why a trade is worth counting line by line
Adding up in your head quickly goes wrong once several printings, conditions or graded cards are involved. The calculation keeps every line visible and gives the top-up to the cent.

Method and limitations
Total given = sum of the values on the “You give” side. Total received = sum of the “You receive” side. Top-up = absolute value of the difference. The side with the smaller total adds that amount.
The relative gap divides the difference by the smaller total. It is not calculated when that total is zero. Every amount is rounded to the cent before it is added.
For each line, keep the name, set and number, language, variant, condition and, where relevant, the grading company and grade. The value you enter remains your own observation: check recent comparable sales, for example on Cardmarket or eBay sold listings. The calculation does not judge authenticity, desirability or liquidity.
What the result includes
The top-up in euros and which side should pay it, the total you give, the total you receive, and the gap as a percentage of the smaller total.
Each side takes 1 to 8 cards, each valued from €0.01 to €100,000. A shareable link keeps both sides in the address so the other trader can check the same numbers.

Find the right printing before you value it
Scan the card with Pepita to find its set, number and price in euros. Then check the language, variant and condition before you carry that value into the trade. The app is available in English and French.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if a Pokémon card trade is fair?
Value every card on both sides from recent sales of the same printing, language, variant and condition, then compare the totals. The calculator gives the exact top-up that closes the gap; fairness beyond the numbers is still your call.
Does the calculator give card prices?
No. You enter each value after checking the same printing, language, variant, condition and card type. Pepita invents no price.
How do I compare a graded card?
Note the company, the grade and the value of comparable sales under that same label. Never mix a graded card with its ungraded price.
Is a trade with equal totals always fair?
No. A total says nothing about authenticity, liquidity, hidden defects or what you personally prefer. It only removes the gap in numbers.
What does the top-up mean?
It is the exact amount to add to the smaller total to match the other. It can be paid in cash or replaced by another card whose value you have checked.
