Avoid overstating your Pokémon card’s condition

Declare six visible issues. The checker rules out Cardmarket conditions that would be too high and shows what still needs inspection.

6 item(s) left to check.

1.Altered artwork

Has the artwork been painted, extended or customised?

2.Inked edges

Was marker or ink used to hide edge wear?

3.Visible scratch

Is there a fixed scratch on the front or back rather than a reflection?

4.Clouded surface

Does an area remain dull or cloudy without obvious dirt?

5.Water damage

Is there staining, swelling or deformation caused by water?

6.Severe warping

Does the card remain deformed enough to be unusable in a tournament?

Answer all six items. “I’m not sure” is better than a guess.

Method and limitations

The tool applies six explicit limits from Cardmarket’s guide and always keeps the most restrictive result. It cannot see the card, assign Mint or Near Mint, determine a PSA grade or calculate a price. Condition remains subjective, so use the official photographs and disclose every visible defect.

Frequently asked questions

Does this give a PSA grade?

No. It only applies selected Cardmarket condition rules to an ungraded card.

Is a card Near Mint when no issue is selected?

Not necessarily. These questions rule out some overly high conditions but do not measure all wear on corners, edges and surfaces.
